‘I have spent almost a decade creating a music language under the influence of the Magic Realism movement. The result of all this is my new album ‘The Tangos of the Magic Reality’, crafting a very personal way to Tango… It is a full concert work (60 min) for String Orchestra, Piano and Accordion.
It has changed me as a composer and as a person. My musical themes are transformed as if through magic mirrors – as in Borges’s work, and through these metamorphoses and constant changes of tonality, the themes change focal points in a fluid labyrinth, as organically and naturally as possible.’ – Jánnos Eolou
